As a young adult, I began the study of metaphysics including the science of
astrology, numerology, spirituality and religion, and developed a deep respect for all
cultures, all religions and all life.
Through personal physical challenges and experiences, I sought the help of various
forms of alternative therapies. My journey led me to Reiki. In April, 2006, I
completed Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki training (Reiki I thru Master) with Jan
Hauenstein. In December, 2007, I completed Karuna® Reiki Master training with
William Lee Rand at The International Center for Reiki Training. In May, 2007,
I began doing Reiki at Metro Health Medical Center as part of their Integrated
Therapies Dept.
Reiki has been a personal blessing to me and one I wish to share with others.
I am a member of and abide by a Code of Ethics as set forth by the International
Association of Reiki Professionals. I am also a Registered Karuna® Reiki Master
(Registration No. 84614) and abide by a Code of Ethics for Karuna® Reiki as set
forth by The International Center For Reiki Training.
I have been a licensed minister since 1985 and regularly perform wedding, renewal
of vows and commitment ceremonies as well as other services. (For more
